Benefits of Barre Fusion

Maui resident and owner of INFUSION Barre & Yoga Trish Bianco developed Barre Fusion™ a 55 minute fusion of ballet barre conditioning, Pilates, and yoga stretching to create the fastest most effective way to change your body.

In just 55 minutes you can achieve a full-body workout concentrating on hips, thighs, seat, abdominals and arms while creating the mental benefits similarly obtained with yoga or meditation. It is a low-impact class, using isometric movements to firm, lengthen, and shape long lean muscles to sculpt your body and clear your head for the day, and possibly long night if you have a little one, ahead! 

Inspired by the revolutionary exercise routine developed by the world-famous ballerina, Lotte Berk and her orthopedist, to create the ultimate body transformation, Trish had the opportunity to receive her Barre Teacher Training Certificate from one of Lotte Berks first students Fred Devito and Elisabeth Halfpapp – creators of Exhale Core Fusion. Barre Fusion is a dynamic blend of ballet, yoga, Pilates, and cardio to tighten up what is loose and melt away any unwanted pounds within a matter of ten classes. 

Beginners are absolutely welcome to the class and you need zero yoga, dance or fitness background to participate! 

In fact, Barre Fusion is one of the fastest ways to regain your pre baby body and a perfect way to continue overall health before during and after pregnancy!

Barre Fusion during pregnancy?

Yes, we love pregnant clients at Infusion and our classes are most definitely suitable during your pregnancy.

We recommend consulting with your doctor giving you permission to exercise, and taking a break in the first trimester. But, if you have been coming to Barre Fusion you may choose to continue classes in the first trimester, being more gentle with your body and avoiding twisting poses that compress the belly. 

Barre Fusion classes are a fantastic way to prepare for labor (fitness + strong legs and gluts are a big help during your contractions and active labor) and help keep your body toned, making it much easier to regain your shape after birth.
